Cristi is a senior tax legal expert with extensive experience in taxation and dispute resolution processes. He developed his key areas of expertise in taxation, public administration and energy. In the context of diversification and enhanced interaction with public authorities, with complex implication in private entities’ life, Cristi has successfully assisted a series of major actors across a broad spectrum of industries, such as: energy, oil & gas, banking and retail & wholesale. He is currently coordinating the tax dispute resolution department & the energy department in ASP Tax&Legal Advisors and coordinating various multidisciplinary teams of professionals involved in taxation related projects. He was previously coordinating the local tax dispute resolution department in Deloitte Romania. Cristi has been actively participated as a legal specialist during the legislative processes in the taxation field. His involvement included expert assistance to the Romanian business community through its leading associations, such as RWEA, PATRES, RPIA, AmCham and the Foreign Investors Council, on various legislative initiatives and amendments regarding tax & energy areas.
