The Solar Energy Bucharest Summit 2026 edition took place at a time when Romania's renewable energy market entered a advanced stage of maturation and professionalization. After years of accelerated growth and consolidation, 2026 brought a clear focus on Project bankability, integration into the energy system and long-term financial sustainability.

The rapid development of ERES capabilities has raised new challenges related to impact on SEN and ODEs, price stability, and the need for efficient financing and tax mechanisms. In this context, the 2026 edition reflected the market's transition to a stage where renewable energy projects are increasingly analyzed in terms of risk, return and systemic integration.

The 2026 edition of the Solar Energy Bucharest Summit consolidated it as reference platform for strategic decisions in the renewable energy sector. The structure of the event showed a high level of maturity, with a focus on dialog between authorities, investors, network operators, financial institutions and project developers.

Compared to previous editions, the 2026 edition was differentiated by its explicit approach to project bankability and taxability, and by integrating discussions on technology, storage and energy markets into a coherent economic and financial framework. The Summit functioned as a space for alignment between public policies and market investment realities.
