RESS - Renewable Energy School of Skills is the largest network of vocational training centres in Romania for renewable energy sources with 2 main locations in Constanta & Petrosani and 4 secondary locations: in Targu-Jiu, in Bucharest at the Polytechnic University, Galati and Arad in the largest photovoltaic park in Europe with an approved capacity of over 1000 MW.
RESS - The safety of your training! The training centre was established 10 years ago, initially focusing on GWO courses for the wind industry in Romania and Europe and in the last 3 years, the centre has expanded its offer, providing courses for professionals dealing with the installation and maintenance of photovoltaic parks.
In 2021, RESS started the implementation of the RENEWACAD-Academy for Professional Training and Advice on Renewable Energy Sources project together with the Ministry of Energy. The project was co-financed from the European Social Fund through the Human Capital Operational Programme 2014-2020 and was successfully completed in autumn 2023 aiming at retraining employees in areas affected by the energy transition, including miners.
