Solar Energy Bucharest Summit?
Solar Energy Bucharest Summit is the first regional expo-conference dedicated to solar energy and the long-term opportunities it brings for investors and consumers. Since 2022, SEBS has become the meeting place for the most important players in this field, both large manufacturers of equipment and related industries as well as investors, consumers or providers of consulting and financing services.

#SEBS2025 Why Romania?
Romania will become a regional energy hub by 2030 thanks to planned investments in the national energy system. The geo-political positioning favours these investments to complement the current energy mix, which includes nuclear and hydropower. European and national policies aim to achieve the 42.5% energy from renewable sources, which speeds up production and the development of new capacity.
To achieve these goals, Romania will receive funding from the Modernisation Fund worth around €15 billion by 2030.
Another source of funding for the energy sector is the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. Through the NRDP, renewable energy will benefit from €595 million in 2024.
